Earl takes Catalina's advice to teach English as a second language in order to cross "Made fun of people with accents" off his karma list. When an old friend Ralph is released from prison, Earl tries to teach him about karma, but Ralph kidnaps Randy to try to get his hands on Earl's lottery winnings.
