Overview

Aurore, a girl of perhaps 11, is poor and hungry. She comes across a younger neighborhood acquaintance who has a package of cookies. She attempts to steal them, but he resists, so without much emotion, she strangles him to death. She and her friend Chris try to cover up the crime.
