Nok Du and Dong Joo become close. Nok Du helps out Dong Joo when she is having a hard time because of her injured hands. Dong Joo says that she wants to treat Nok Du like an older sister. Nok Du happens to see a shaman and widows performing a religious ceremony, and he thinks that the widows are scheming something.
