Overview
This Kitchen Crash starts with an inspiration piece: a blue mixer. Taking that idea and running with it, Alison creates a design for a retro makeover which totally changes a kitchen. This project starts with new flooring and includes white cabinets, beech butcher-block countertops, and custom touches like a hammered zinc island top, mesh inserts in the cabinet doors and a wall clock that is almost the entire wall. The crowning touch is the bright blue range and hand dyed sink that leave the homeowners overwhelmed.
