Chien et chat (1992)

Bernard Merlin, a brilliant and honest policeman who is perhaps a little 'too rigid' in his conception of education, and Serge Thibaut, an efficient but a little 'too cool' police commissioner. The two men, apparently contradictory, will quickly complement each other in their investigations.
