Overview

His passion for salmon pie leads Boyan into a love triangle that he didn't sign up for at all. Maria Pavlovna's neighbor, Leonid, sees in him a romantic rival and opaquely hints that he is ready to fight for the favor of the mathematician. To somehow explain the unexpectedly cold attitude towards his colleague, the Serb has to play out a story about a jealous girl. Natalia is also trying on a new role: the historian suggests that she embody the image of the bloody landowner Saltychikha, but she copes even too well.
